A social media portal with an ever growing collection of images highlighting the state of pavements in various localities across the island, which is in turn shedding light on people’s social attitudes towards public space.

@maltapavements is an ongoing project 'documenting Malta's fantastic sidewalks', which began in 2017. I consider it an extension of my dissertation research, driving the point forward on how the pedestrian is considered to be a second class citizen as opposed to other road users.
